Yes, GIS welcomes all students without discrimination
The duration of the entrance exam vary depending on the student him/herself as well as the grade level they're applying to
. As a general rule, allow for a few hours if student is in secondary grades (especially high school)
Entrance exams consists of 3 parts: English language, Mathematics and Arabic language (for Arab nationals)
For Grade 8 to Grade 12 (English, Mathematics, Biology,, Chemistry, Physics, ICT/IT)

a) Walk-in (in person): the receptionists will schedule the exam and interview and inform you right away of the date and time. Depending on the schedule, you maybe able to take the exam and interview on the same day if you have the time

All students, unless excused for medical reasons, are required to take weekly P.E classes that include psycho-motor learning in a game or movement exploration setting to promote health and fitness
Art class is also a weekly requirement for all grades
In addition, GIS provides a multitude of activities, special events and competitions throughout the year that include Arts, Crafts, Literature, Science, Sports and many more. Take a look at our gallery to see samples of such activities

After completing the admission process and payment, the accounts office will hand you a receipt and instruct you to pick up the textbooks from the nearby storage. The books will be given to you as a bundle in a convenient GIS bag
. afterwards, you'll pass by the IT office next door to receive your account & log in data
